Cajun Comic Relief began in 1992 as a fundraiser for the Lafayette Catholic Service Center. Since then, we have become one of the area’s most successful and enduring charity events. Over the past 30+ years, CCR has raised more than $1.5 million dollars for local organizations, while entertaining tens of thousands of audience members. Cajun Comic Relief remain committed to our mission of supporting and entertaining our community. This year our fundrasing efforts will go towards Love of People Nonprofit's fight against Parkinson's Disease and Dementia.

By donating you can help in many ways. The fundraising efforts of Cajun Comic Relief are going towards Love of People's Fight against Parkinson's Disease and Dementia. With Community Partners Rock Steady Boxing Acadiana, a boxing program for those fighting Parkinson's, and Belle's Tower, a day-space for those battling Dementia and their families, Love of People is able to improve the quality of life for two underserved communities in Acadiana.

Additionally, your donation can go towards purchasing tickets for our elderly community, allowing them to take a break from the nursing home or care center for an afternoon and sharing some laughs and fellowship.
